Is there an idea of adding internet radio streaming to the desktop server, and redirecting that output to the receiver?.

That's what the button was originally planned for.

However, the next software release will be primarily focussed on removing the database limitations and getting the server running as a service.

Internet Radio might be included, but don't hold your breath.
