IIRC, the RD100 was the 10GB model of the RioCar. Similar numbers were used to distinguish the capacity, but all were still considered RioCars (aka Mk2a).


Yea I know that. It's just that a lot of people just use "Mk2" by default when they are selling an Empeg, even though it is an Mk2a.
Sometimes they'll put the "RD100" model number there, so I was wondering if both the Mk2 versions had different "RD" numbers.

I thought the capacity was stated after the "RD100" designation, i.e.
RD100-10 for a 10gb player.. or is this not the case?
