As are meth, valium, and vicodin, apparently.
"Vitamin V" is historically pretty benign. When last I checked, no documented cases of anyone killing themselves with Valium alone. OTOH, meth....oh and I remember that dentist who threw himself into fatal cardiac arrest with pharma cocaine...
Edit: Oh, and Vicodin, Percocet, Tylox...the various oxycodone+acetomenophin products??.....as marvelous as they are for their intended purpose, you will kill yourself with acetomenopihin/Tylenol-induced liver failure before you manage to develop a long-term addiction to these. This is perhaps the reason that pharma companies and docs developed a preference for acetomemenophin-based combo narco drugs versus aspirin/ASA combo drugs....."Don't worry, if that patient you saw last week is a crypto-addict, well, they'll kill themselves! Don't worry! Be happy!"
So maybe Rick died of liver failure?
