I just love beating a dead horse (when they are dead they don't fight back)

with all new advances since the empeg was created has anyone given any though to replacing the VFD with a color lcd touch screen or color lcd (digikey seems to have a ton of them listed http://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Criteria?Ref=16047&Site=US&Cat=31851328)

I am currently selling my Empeg but if a Color one came out with a touch screen or even just color and it was cheaper then the 2500 or so I am spending for a IVA-300, Ipod adapter and 40 G ipod I would jump at it)

Empeg Lighted buttons Color Screen updated Sound card and 100 gig sounds pretty sweet to me.
