I have considered applying the .upgrade back on the box. If I do the full upgrade, does that format out the / filesystem? I know it won't kill the music, but I'm wondering about the displayer mod. I know I can reapply without a problem, I'm just curious before I do it.

Load the Consumer image first to completely wipe the root filesystem?
