Heh heh.. I know that menace well. When they tried that out on me, I started hacking OS/2 and then Linux in all of my "free" hours to compensate. Eventually this enabled me to cut free from the M-word shackles, and get back to real life on my own!

This course is being developed for delivery to a specific client, twice in the next six weeks or so, but I anticipate having it made available to others after the initial runs.

Currently the content and pace are geared to match the needs of the lead customer (always a good strategy to bootstrap a new product). At the end of the week, it should leave them at a point where they could intelligently discuss embedded Linux systems with anyone from the Cambridge team.

Whether they could "make that team" or not afterward, would depend much more heavily on their individual capabilities than on anything I can show them during the week. I'm hoping they aren't quite that far along yet, so that they'll be happier with the content of the course (the hope of instructors everywhere?).

Cheers!
