Hey Brad, well done! The best thing is that about 90% of the reasons you cited for purchasing your player were the same as mine. In the end, it was the comments here and the fact that Hugo, Rob and others offer their advice / imput here for all to see. For me, this was a big decision (I talked to my bank today - $2200 Canadian after the exchange!) but I know that, in the end, it will be worth it. I am a little apprehensive about how it will sound with the high-end sound system in my car (I am replacing a Pioneer fish-finder head unit for those of you who know what that is)...and I had concerns about what level of encoding to do (the BBS answered that concern too). With the unit's flexablity, I know with a little expermentation, I will get the sound I am looking for and that is half the fun :) I will keep you posted, and I look forward to comparing notes next summer Brad :) J
