Yeap. Here's another one I posted recently:

Some people pull themselves on carts with them, or do dune jumping. (I think we have a board member who does this stuff out west.)

You might be referring to me =]. I've been kite buggying for about 5 years now. The wind season is just kicking up here in the Bay Area and it's starting with a blast. I was doing 48mph runs down Ocean Beach day before yesterday witha 2 meter kite!

At the beginning of this month Rob V and I went on our annual pilgrimage to the Mojave Desert to a dry lakebed to do some buggying and boarding... Here's his photo gallery:

OH! That reminds me of something I've been meaning to post here for you UK folks. Any of you heard of the Windjet? Richard, the pilot, was at the lakebed when we were doing some speed runs. Super nice bloke and man is that an impressive craft! Start here and hit next a few times to see some pictures of it that I took, including the cockpit and an AVI of it at speed.

I hope this experience means my learning curve for kitesurfing will be pleasantly easy....

I was hoping the same... but man, i gotta tell you. Learning to kitesurf is probably the hardest thing i've ever tried to learn, and I do tons of board sports!

At any rate... Kites kites kites! Awesome hobby that can go in so many directions it's ridiculous!
