Actually, that's not true. They trickle in every week. Most retailers get from 3 to 10 a week (that's an extimate based on local retailers). The X-box is what's going to make things interesting.... no licensing. Any programmer with the Kahonays to do it can write software for that sucker... at least that's the buz going around. Who knows with MS.
Sega is pretty much getting out of the hardware business and getting into the software and partnering biz. They've already anounced that they have partnered with a few set top box makers (Pace being one, whom i believe is UK based) and are going to incorporate the Dreamcast hardware into the set tops so you can play any dreamcast games on the box, and not even need a disc. The games will be downloadable. They are trying to incorporate themselves into a wider hardware market so they have a wider imbedded base to sell software and make revenue from licensed hardware. There's even rumors of a future Dreamcast on PS2 mod. Interesting stuff.
