Or release an iPod with built-in bluetooth so you can leave the iPod in your pocket and still have room for whatever guts you wanted (CD tray, etc). Then you can not only sell licensing to car stereo makers for the iPod bluetooth interface but you could sell bluetooth iPods and bluetooth iPod headphones.
