Don't do the whole x86 OS X thing as a productive useful operating system. The dodgy version that has been released into the wild has limited drivers, a few little issues and quite a few broken apps. Its very much Beta quality. Future app compatibility is unknown, and you simply can't count on it as an option. All the new builds have some hardware-checking crypto code in place, so it will be a while until someone hacks that and there is a new version available.
OS X on Dell is a fun thing to do on a rainy day, but thats about it.
