Didn't mention it, but is was on a pc. Sorry that my rant was a bit ill defined. It's just that so often I'm finding it a problem that installers are being provided in a bundled forms.

Heck the last logitch mouse I bought had about 5 different items that were offered for installation with the drivers, amoung them Musicmatch.

I did find the 6.something installer later, but at the time just needed QT right away. Apple's installer was one of the better I've used lately. It allowed me to choose the file associations I would allow.
