Last I checked, Dell power supplies also have a "backwards" back panel. The fan and power plug are on opposite sides as standard power supplies... and the cases are usually configured to make it impossible to use an off the shelf part.

And for what It's worth, I have a new BFG 7800GT that works pretty well...
