I often wonder if they make one of those curvy-type trucks that isn't SSR. I mean, SS is a historically bad-ass name, coupled with R for some heavy fire power. But did they make a base model? Or is the truck just THAT good?
The R in SSR stands for roadster. Does it mean something else on other vehicles?
Base model? There's never been anything I would call a base model. Unless you wanted to claim that the 03/04 years were the base model to the 05/06 years. The former have a 5.3L Vortec all aluminum motor that produces 300hp. While the latter sport the 6L LS2 engine, producing 400hp. Besides the engines there isn't much to distinguish one SSR from another.
I somehow get the imrepssion that by, curvey base model truck, you are asking if there is a curvy practical work truck. Not that I know of.
