Anything small and cheap but infrequently needed costs a small fortune here. It's one of those "serving the customer" things our stores do - give them a cheap price on the big ticket items, but screw 'em on the little ones. Best buy probably charges more for the cables to hook up a DVD player than the DVD player itself. (lets see - 3' Component video cable, $20, "digital" coax audio cable, $14 - cheapest dvd player ... drum roll please ... 33.24)
