Have any settings changed in the options?

Try unchecking "use hijack when possible" and also see if it can connect via ethernet if you feed it a direct IP address instead of broadcast.

Make certain that Ethernet works for regular emplode (i.e., with the USB cable disconnected).

Make certain that you haven't enabled the Windows Firewall or another firewall product that is specifcially blocking jemplode yet allowing emplode.
