Yeah, I had that problem with that episode as well. I thought their choice of which way to flip the "confirmed/busted" bit was backwards. Although at this point, I don't remember which way they went with it any more.

I seem to recall that it was inconsistent with the other security-device-bypass stuff they did on the very same episode. I seem to recall getting past one security device got a "busted", whereas getting past another security device got a "confirmed". So the episode didn't even have self-consistency, which is what bugged me.

Really, though, it didn't change the nifty testing they did on that episode. I really couldn't care less which of the two welded signs appears at the end of the test, as long as I understood what the tests did.
