I've never seen a reality show in HD. I always assumed it had something to do with the number of cameras required to catch all the action (ie...Big Brother with 46 cameras this last season). It's gotta be expensive to upgrade all that equipment to HD. Not to mention that they may not make HD cameras small enough to go some of the places they need to go.
