Hi,

It is really rare that JEmplode can automatically discover empegs on my LAN. I nearly always have to enter a "specific address" (eg. 10.0.0.8) to get it to find/connect to a player.

Today, whilst experimenting with Kubuntu Edgy, I ran Wireshark (aka. "ethereal") while trying JEmplode, and found that the UDP discovery packets it sends (for the "ethernet broadcast" option) are reported as having invalid packet checksums.

That's gotta be a JEmplode (or java?) bug, and I wonder if that's why my empegs never seem to respond.. ??

???
