Mmm.. Now there's an interesting question. 1365.3333x768 is 16:9 aspect, so 1366 is a nice even-numbered approximation, that just happens to be 2/3 full HDTV (1920x1080(i)) resolution.

But why not 960x540 (1/2 HDTV) instead? Too low-rez ?
