Brax, you should NOT BE ABLE TO SEE SONG FILES. The empeg does not store its files that way.

Whoever had the player before you COMPLETELY SCREWED IT UP or at least did nonstandard things to it.

Start the whole thing over from scratch. Go to riocar.org. Go to the DISK UPGRADE GUIDE there on riocar.org. Find the parts about downloading the BUILDER IMAGES and the section about FORMATTING A NEW DISK.

Follow those.
