I tried to boot on backup player using same HDD, and all worked fine. So, the problem is in the hardware of player 1
To rule out that the problem is in the display board of player one, i swapps the display boards between players, and player 1 still does not turn on, backup player boots. So problem is somewhere on the motherboard of player 1.
The good part is that I can use the lighted buttons on backup empeg. The bad parts are
1. can't use the extra ram meory I had on the motherboard.
2. I have a motherboard to repair. And after all work done on it (digital, optic output and extra memory), that's bad
3. My backup player used to be my main player, and suffered from one bad problem: lower volume on rear left speaker. The opimist in me hopes that tomorrow, when I plug it in my car, the problem is magically gone. If not, I am back to that, too.
Ok, two empegs and none working properly. That's not good.
