Nah, I definitely prefer this look. White backgrounds have really started to annoy me. I like sites like these to take the stress off my eyes. Plus, white would not go with these colors at all. If the colors changed, well, that would be too bad.

If the colors did change, it wouldn't have to be forced on everyone... WWWThreads (the latest version) use stylesheets to specify what the color settings are for the page, so if the colors were changed in any way it certainly wouldn't be difficult to make a backup of the stylesheet and name it "Old Colors Which Everyone Loves", which you can then change back to in your profile... :)
