I will try the hijack upgrade first...
I would guess it might be related to memory... because the issue does not seem related to any specific tracks.. the same track may play many times just fine but crash another... and when it happens it is almost never on the same track... It does seem to happen more in the first few tunes it plays after a cold startup.
I will try and update this thread in a couple of days...
