If the site isn't supposed to be UK-only, then they need to revise their address forms to accommodate "country" and they might want to show prices in Euros or Dollars instead of Pounds Sterling.

People and companies will want the .com version of their domain. Pretty much every browser will use .com as the first try if somebody doesn't enter the TLD.
