Well, I've been waiting for this specific display for about 2 years, but for this class of display from Apple for about 5 years now (size and density, not IPS). It's been forever since they released the 30" and their display production had been completely stagnant for years.

I should find out about the other display they've been working on for over a year, though I know for sure it would be way out of my price range, not to mention requirements.

So, let us know when the display comes in. Since it's only going to be in another few weeks, I suppose it might as well get its own thread - maybe you can post some pictures of it too.
