You could potentially modify the security settings on those files to allow the backup service to access them.

Or you might be able to delete them. Start → Run; "mmc"; File → Add/Remove Snap-in; Certificates. Play around in there and see if you can find anything that looks pertinent. Don't delete anything that you aren't sure is deletable, though.
