if you didn't deactivate the login password for DisplayServer when you installed it on your empeg then this may be the problem. I number of programs don't like it and simply don't give you a chance to enter the username and password (both ttt by default), and thus you never see anything. Netscape works fine (I've used v4.77 on both a Mac and a WinNT box) as does Quicktime. I've had problems with ie, winamp and Windoze media player. Good luck getting it going.
