peter carpal tunnel Registered: 13/07/2000 Posts: 4181 Loc: Cambridge, England	Proxy settings? They hide that somewhere different in each version of Windows, and I don't have XP to hand. But that would fit the symptoms of IP works, web doesn't. Peter
