I looked over the pictures, the foliage in the lineup image is crisp. Since the title is DSC00008.jpg, I'm guessing it was taken with a Sony of some type.

So, what magic was used to generate that pic?

Yep, it's a sony. I actually dropped the resolution down from the 2048x1536 resolution they were taken at. It is a Sony Cybershot DSC-S70.
