True, I too did run it on a virtual machine when Win2K8-compatible (well, bug-free) version was not available yet. Still, I guess I'm happier w/o the need of a VM just for that

in all honesty, I too think that the whole Squeezebox product line was doomed. Not only iPhone+iTunes is a more appealing/known/accessible solution to most people, but also game consoles (XBox in particular) are eating up the market for many who do have a music collection they want to listen to remotely.
