True, but he's got a good point. For example, I think that on this very BBS, my displayed name and my user login ID are two different things. I happen to have them set to the same thing because I don't care much, but, it's much more secure to set them to two different things.

I see the point he's making: That the name displayed to the world should be different than the name you use to log in. Because, no matter how secure your password is, one of the authentication factors is your login ID, and obscuring that would add yet another factor to the password security.
