If GMail is filtering the attachments in addition to the body text, then it's not one of the filters... it's probably just about all of them causing the problem.
Well, the [empirical] evidence seems to suggest that GMail
IS filtering on the
attachments as well as the title, address, and body of the email itself.
Since deleting all of my filters, my spam (in the Spam folder) has gone up by more than 10x, but my "problem" account with the eBook attachments has stayed in the Inbox where it belongs.
Who woulda thunk it!
