Unfortunately I couldn't find a model number anywhere on the old fiber converters. I didn't have a record of their ordering, so I don't know what kind of connector they use. I've been researching the different types of fiber connectors, but I'm still confused because it seems like the "SC" type is exactly what I have currently, and that's what the new adapters are listed as having, but the plugs just didn't go into them neatly. It's like they were really loose, and could easily slide in and out before they were "snapped" out of the socket. It...just didn't seem right...
