Yea, with recommended gauges of 8 for the Alpine amp and 12 for the Sub amp I didn't think there would be a problem, but since I'm going to be supplying both devices from a single 8 gauge wire from the battery I wanted to be sure that I wasn't going to be sacrificing sound quality (especially since I, like many other empeg owners I'm sure, have a sunk a hefty sum of money into my car stereo now. I swear, owning an empeg has the same effect on your wallet as dating an attractive girl .)

Alright, I think I'm going to go ahead and install the sub, but if anyone thinks that I should run 4 gauge wire back there first please let me know...
