That is huge, but perfectly in line with the new Microsoft by Satya Nadella, I think. It is an interesting and promising new Microsoft, if you ask me.
Agreed very much, and it's exciting to see. The overall corporate restructures seem to be doing wonders for getting research projects out of their labs and are resulting in some great tools. This developer environment would have been very useful for some of the past game projects I was part of.
