Good point, but thankfully I don't use the personality options, anyway. In each location as well as in the car there's a head unit where I handle all of my customizations. Solves the problem rather nicely: the Empeg always stays on 0.0db. Volume, loudness, and EQ control is handled by external hardware acting as a pre-amp.
