The car I finally passed my driving test in was a Golf GTI (mk2, iirc). That was a fun car to drive. Scared the crap out of my instructor on a couple of occasions. Why brake when there's a gap right there, and the gas pedal's right here?

After I got my license, I borrowed the empeg demonstrator Mercedes A-class for a bit, before I got my own car.
