Yeah...a switch for the RCA is something I thought about and will probably do. Fo now though, like you said, I only keep one on at a time...never both at the same time. Mostly this post was to tell Pathfinder owners that you can install the RioCar as your head unit if you want VERY easily, unlike what the install shops will tell you.
