There's an empeg owner's registry here but it's not terribly active because not a lot of people know about it. There had been tentative plans to add a registry to riocar.org but I don't know where that stands. There's about 500 Empegs in the registry link above, and 4000 total, so that's not too bad of a turnout, but it could be better.
