Reading this thread, I keep getting these weird flashbacks to "A Fish Called Wanda", in which, if I remember, Cleese's wife was named Wendy. When Wanda's engraved locket falls into her hands and she mistakes it as a gift, she says, "and it's even got a wuh-for-Wendy". That, and the scene near the end in the courtroom where Cleese gets all flustered, Fawlty-towers-style, and mixes up Wanda and Wendy's names in front of everyone.
