Don't panic, and don't automatically assume it can't be done without cutting. Considering the age of your car, there must have been scores of people who have had to figure out how to put aftermarket stereos into that car. Before cutting your dash, investigate more and see if you can't find an example of installing aftermarket stereos into that car. Maybe someone's come up with something very clever.
