FAQ entry is outdated.

Here's how:

FTP to your player, and issue the SITE RW command (or whatever your FTP client software uses instead of SITE, eg. QUOTE).

Then CD to the target directory, and PUT the file(s). Finally, do SITE RO and then QUIT from FTP.
