It looks like the interm kernel patch stopped the button sticking, but has created a new problem. Twice since I applied the new kernel, the empeg's front buttons have stopped working. A reset has always fixed it, but it has never started up in this condition.

We had this happen a few times during development but always managed to blame it on something else (initially plugging in a USB cable would make them stop working).

It looks like there is a problem with the new IR driver just stopping working. We shall investigate further.
