Well, you'd want the volume to be relatively stiff though. I can imagine the clothes dryer ducting flexing to the beat and in effect changing the internal volume of the box constantly.


Hmmm... a good point. But I suspect that the actual increase in volume would be negligable. I mean, imagine blowing into that hose in an attempt to "inflate" it. I don't believe it would get measurably larger, after all it is a plastic covered wire spiral and probably not very prone to changing shape.
