First, download the track, and put it to one side.
Next, use the "Reset Metadata" function in emplode to reset the offset, codec, bitrate and duration tags. See below for more information.
Then try to play the track again. If it plays, then "Reset Metadata" did the trick. If it doesn't, then see if it'll play in Winamp. If it will, then send it to us -- we like to examine MP3 tracks that won't play.

Reset Metadata:

First, some background: the player requires that the bitrate, duration, codec and offset tags be filled in correctly. Earlier builds of the player/emplode software didn't necessarily get these correct. This can lead to tracks being unplayable.

The v2.0 version of emplode gets these tags correct when importing new music, but also allows you to correct the tags for tracks already on the player. However, it's a little confusing in operation. Selecting "Reset Metadata" doesn't actually recalculate the new values, it just blanks them so that they're recalculated next time.

1. You select "Reset Metadata", which zeroes these fields.
2. You press sync. The zeroed fields are written back to the player.
3. During database download, emplode notices that the values are bogus, and prompts you to fix them. It then sits there chuntering away working out the correct values.
4. You press sync, and these new values are written back to the player.
