Darwin, I agree with you on only buying the capacity you need. By the time you use it, the next larger size will have dropped. But I already have more than 10GB to add, so a 40 to replace my 30 wont cut it.

I ordered my 48GB drive for $199.. from Spartan Tech. A day later, the price went up - then again. It ended up topping at $230 and I was just told that it is on back order for another 2 weeks! Is there something going on is Asia right now? Where are all the big drives? The 60GB drives have been the biggest out for quite some time and only IBM makes them...
