It's possible that this is intentional functionality, but I find it annoying:

Pause the player. Attempt to queue up some tracks to follow the current track (using Insert or Append). Observe that the player switches out of pause mode when a track is added to the running order.

I think this behaviour is plausible for Replace, but I think it's definitely undesirable for Insert and Append.
