Config.ini will be blank until the next time you change the configuration in the "Configure player" screen in emplode. Fill in your personal details and stuff and synch once, and it'll no longer be blank. (You skipped step 5.)

And Bitt: You're right, I generally avoid putting specific-version-bugs in the FAQ, but I thought that one was important enough to include until the next beta is out.
