If these are the little "compact plug top" adapters, I would highly recommend taking David up on his offer. These units are good for a couple reasons:
1) They are an "Anti-wall-wart" design that is very clever. They are still a wall wart, but the casing is shaped in such a way that they don't block other plugs when plugged in. Very very nice.
2) They can prevent a home-stereo ground loop in some circumstances. For traveling, I normally used the two-piece PSU (with the separate 3-prong mains lead) which came with the player. It worked fine in 99 percent of the locations. However, I have one friend whose stereo doesn't like that PSU, and there is a nasty ground loop when I use it. Last weekend I verified that the newer compact-plug-top model does not have the ground loop when plugged into this friend's stereo. Worked great all night at the LAN party.
